Old School Fiberglass Kayak
Clearwater brand or model. Guessing it was made in the late 70s or early 80s.
Length 13' 6" Long.
Ultra light at only 26 pounds.
Alunimum foot pegs.
Paracord 550 handles (custom woven).
Two Harmony air floatation bags (bow & stern).
No paddles included.
Very fast on the water... BUT, not the most stable kayak I've used. I'm 6' & 200 pounds and it is defiently better for someone smaller than me. I had a struggle getting into the small opening. My son & daughter did much better. My son is about 140 pounds and it was much more stable for him.
There is evidence of numerous fiberglass repairs over the years including a few I did after I acquired it. The repairs were not done by a professional and it shows. Though cosmetically not the prettiest, it is sound and does not leak.
I'm the one who painted it red too. Sale includes an extra can of red spray paint for touchups.
Priced fairly and firmly at $80. Willing to show at the McDonalds parking lot in the Safeway/Kohls shopping center southwest of the intersection of McCarrand Blvd and Mae Anne Avenue. Email me with a time that works for you & I'll confirm. If you're reading this posting, yes, it is available.
