Great for a small excavator, bobcat, dune buggy, Jeep, 4X4, Compact car, lumber, heavy equipment, tractor, skid steer, farm and garden, material handling... This is an old trailer so............
Here are the Pros:
-Holds 8k possibly more with better tires (Eastern marine has the most options and are cheapest I found online: ) It has two 6k axles but the trailer has no Manufacture tag with a GVWR). You would need matching rim loads to tire loads to get the max capacity.
-new tongue jack
-new breakaway switch
-freshly packed bearings
-Light scale weight (1560 lbs)
Here are the Cons:
-Ugly (rust is just surface rust it is not rusting apart).
-Needs new tires desperately (I used this trailer occasionally and even made trips of over 200 miles as the tires are but, I did it at my own risk and I always brought a spare which comes with the sale). Front Right tire has a 1 month leak (goes flat very slowly).
-Has no shocks (it was not designed with shocks). It makes a lot of noise unloaded but when it has a heavy load it rides very nice.
-Short (is 12 feet to the front cross beam). I put 2x12 X 14ft on it and drove a small car all the way to the front. If your creative you might be able to get a truck on it, the back ramps do come off.
-Could use a deck (could be fabricated easily if really wanted).
