Sales / Product Manager

Murphy Scott Resources is a growing fuel and lubricant supplier headquartered in Grandview, T X. We are in search of a highly motivated individual to help us create a complete sales management program. Our ideal candidate will be dynamic, hard working, self motivated and highly driven. You will report to and work closely with the owner / president of our company. We need someone who has the ability to manage people and also has the background and desire to understand the products we sell.


Sales Management:
Develop and manage all aspects of a sales program
Meet quarterly sales goals set by the company
Coordinate monthly sales meetings
Sales training
Generate and review sales commission reports
Chart daily sales numbers
Recruit, manage, motivate and drive their sales organization
Generate old sold reports
Manage lead system
Establish and direct sales team to meet individual sales quotas

Customer Relations:
Maintain customer satisfaction and retention by providing problem solving resources
Make sure all quotes go out in a timely manner
Establish pricing points for individual customers
Communicate appreciation to our customers
Develop customer loyalty programs

Product Management:
Product research to meet specific customer needs
Product knowledge & trainings
Product cross references
Be involved in inventory controls to be sure accurate levels are kept on hand to fulfill future sales growth
Manage special order products
Create and promote monthly product specials

Vendor Relations:
Establish and meet vendor growth goals
Manage vendor incentive programs
Acquire new vendors and product lines
Negotiate pricing on new and existing products
