A long established and growing Pacific Northwest company is seeking an International Sales/Production Coordinator to add to their Portland, Oregon team. This position will help support our team in the day-to-day running of the business as well as support our offices overseas. This position plays a pivotal role in managing multiple product assortments and the tactical projects associated with assortment maintenance.
Using sales analysis, determine optimal product assortments for new and existing items
Daily order processing and production management.
Provide process and workflow feedback and participate in improving workflows, processes and incorporating new technologies and procedures
Assist in the development and maintenance of new and existing programs
Work with overseas team members
Purchasing and order management
International Business experience preferred
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs
Familiarity with Sage Accpacc highly recommended
Ability to read, write and speak Chinese is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
Strong time management skills, ability to work independently, balance multiple projects simultaneously
Works well under pressure with the ability to prioritize
Database maintenance, reporting and analysis skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other personnel to resolve issues
Ability to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems.
We are currently located in NE Portland, but we will be relocating to the NW industrial area at the end of October. Please keep this in mind when applying for this position.
