These little girls really need a new home. I will take a rehoming of $100 for both chins and the cage and all supplies. But I will NOT take less. Don't ask. Considering that the cage itself cost $200+ and each chin would go for $125+ from a breeder, this is an exceptionally reasonable rehoming fee. If you can't manage that, you can't manage the chinchillas.
We have 2 Chinchillas that we are unable to give the time, love, and attention they need. They are both female. One gray (Peanut), and one tan (Sandy.) They are in good health, and between 1.5 and 3 years old. If you take both, they come with the cage (Large, multi-level cage) and all the dishes, water bottles, sand box, some hay, cedar chips, food, hammock, and other stuff. If taken singly, you will need to provide your own supplies.
We are asking a reasonable rehoming fee (reduced) to make sure that you are serious about loving and caring for our friends. They have become attached to each other, so we very much want them to stay together, but that's negotiable, but you'll have to have a cage and supplies. Your house must be cat free and you need to have some knowledge of chins, especially on how to chin proof your home. They love to chew on things, and can seriously hurt or kill themselves if you don't take proper precautions.
Please contact me via email with a local phone number. I will want to talk to you and ask you some questions. These chins will not automatically go to the first respondent. I will choose the best home I can for them to make sure they are well cared for.
