Neesvig's, Inc, a premier food service distributor is seeking a Full Time employee in its grinding department.

This individual is responsible for setting up and operating all equipment in the grinding department and must have an appreciation and understanding for the importance of operational safety and conduct themselves accordingly. Responsibilities also include executing the daily production plan, tracking raw material usage, and reporting results daily to the supervisor and/or the accounting department. This person also is tasked with monitoring raw material quality and temperatures. He or she will have to move product between the cooler, freezer, and production room as needs dictate. This person must develop an understanding of our food safety plan (HAACP and SOP), and operate the department within those parameters. Finally, this person must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and work 10-12 hour shifts on his or her feet.

The ideal candidate is extremely reliable, organized and is able to work independently. He or she must have simple math skills in multiplication, division, subtraction, and addition. Additionally, he or she must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
