Sequoia Equities has an immediate opening for a Service Manager at our beautiful 240 unit apartment community. Located 39 miles north of San Francisco, Park Central Apartment Homes is one of the newest luxury communities in Petaluma. Like being able to take something that needs attention and fix it? The right candidate for this position enjoys a fast pace work environment and fun, friendly atmosphere. In this position, you will enjoy multi-tasking, maintaining the community, managing the maintenance team and preparing the apartment homes for our new residents moving into the community. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has a background in apartment maintenance and is Customer service focused with experience in vendor relations and managing renovations is a plus.

*Directing the efforts of the maintenance team
*Asset preservation through audits, risk walks and curb appeal audits
*Manages and participates in apartment maintenance/turnovers
*Schedules and participate in On Call Emergency Rotation
*Assists in the preparation of the annual property budget
*Maintains and manages maintenance expenses within budget guidelines
*Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including prospects, residents and vendors
*Must be a customer service oriented individual
*Experience with capital projects a plus
*Understanding of basic budgeting terms and process desired
*Effective verbal and written communication skills
*Intermediate computer skills
*Time Management Skills
*Must participate in On Call Emergency rotation
*Must be able to work Monday -- Friday, 8am-5pm
*Must be able to Live On-Site; Housing is part of compensation
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
*High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
*Certified in HVAC, or other industry recognized skill or trade
*Minimum of 2+ years Industry experience preferred
*Minimum of 1-2+ years prior management experience preferred
*Experience managing a team of 3 or more
