I am looking to sell my wine collection. All of my bottles are hand picked over the last 10 years. My wine is a great combination of rare wines which are still gaining value, some very good collectable and/or drinking wines, some great everyday drinking wines, and some special occasion wines. Great for the beginning wine drinker, novice or experienced collector. There are 130 bottles in all. I will also add in the wine rack as a bonus which holds most of the bottles. They have been stored in a climate controlled, low humidity environment and occasionally turned. I have a spreadsheet with all of the bottles I have, vintages, etc. that I can email you if interested. 90% of my collection was researched and purchased and shipped to me from Gary Vaynerchuk and WineLibrary from the East coast. Only a handful of my wines could you even be purchased in Iowa or surrounding areas, which is what I like the most about the collection. I did a lot of researching before purchasing my wines and I have a good mix of great Australian Shiraz's (Kaesler Stonehorses, Molly Dooker), some up and coming wines from South Africa, awesome Petite Syrah wines from Walla Walla, Washington, some bold California Reds such as (2) 1998 Robert Mondavi Cabernet Reserves, some tasty Argentinian Malbec's, German Rieslings, and (2.5) cases of 2005 Bordeaux's which I had to preorder a year in advance because of the great Bordeaux's of 2005. I spent $3,500+ on the collection not counting majority of the shipping costs. It is worth as we speak $5,000+ ( I spent many hours researching the value of wines that I could find online) and increasing in value everyday. I am selling at a very fair price. I would love to keep my collection since it is has been very fun collecting but at this point someone may benefit more from it than myself. I have decided on a price point of $2,900 or best agreed upon offer. I have reduced my asking price by over $1,000. This is a lot less than the original purchasing price, not including hundreds I paid in shipping of the wines, and approximately 1/2 of what it is worth. Please no lowball offers. Motivated wine enthusiast welcome! Cash Only. I have already tried to be scammed twice with counterfeit checks and since my fianc works at a bank it was very easy to verify the checks. I recommend everyone who deals on if they do accept a check, before the person leaves call the bank on the check and ask to verify the account and funds ;) Thanks for interest in advance!
