Happy Feet Plus, the original company in the Tampa area to sell Health and Wellness footwear, started 30 years ago and now has 10 retail stores on the west coast of Florida. Happy Feet Plus believes in and promotes healthy footwear as well as a healthy work environment.
We have an opening for a Manager in Training position at our Ellenton store located just outside the Ellenton Outlet Center. You must bring some skills or experience in the shoe industry with you.
-Experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager in retail
-Must have strong selling skills
-Must have a positive attitude and great people skills
-Knowledge of health and wellness footwear and/or other health and wellness products would be a huge plus

Summary of Position:
Assist the Store & Assistant Manager
Provide excellent customer service to meet sales goals as set by the Company
Assist in all Store operations per Company policy
Maintain Store appearance to attract customers
Assist in organizing, receiving, and transferring merchandise
Payroll and Scheduling
Opening and Closing
Excellent communication skills to properly relate to customers, staff, supervisors, and Corporate Office
Strong sales and customer service skills
Good training, supervisory and motivational skills
Good problem resolution experience
Effective computer and POS register abilities
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to use a ladder to access the stock
Must have the stamina to work up to 40 hours per week
Flexible schedule to accommodate retail hours 7 days per week
