Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
I am a caregiver and my client is a 97 year old gentlemen who lives in a two-bedroom apartment. Its ground level, wheelchair accessible. We even have a manual sit-to-stand for a gentlemen if he has problems getting up, etc. My co-workers do have children and my client does not mind; so we would need someone who likes children. They will never go in the bedroom because they are well behaved. (Well, the best you could ask of a three year old hahahahaha!)
Besides me, there are two other caregivers who take care of my client through-out the day. If your father or uncle of brother is in need of help, give us a call!
Its difficult to make a decision about your family member having to go into a nursing home or assistant living. This provides a free living environment where your family member can watch TV, go outside, grocery and medication help, etc. My co-worker and I live right across the hall and my other co-worker lives down the street so if there was a emergency we would be on the scene in a heartbeat! We have W/D on site so laundry will always be done.
We have a sense of family and community in this home, and would really enjoy having another person to have for my client so he isn't too alone when we aren't there. What we ask, is that this room-mate is chill and/or "down to earth"; doesn't have issues with sever illnesses or disease (No offence, we just cant give the proper care to someone who is in need of round the clock nurse care.) We are basically asking for someone who still wants to stay independent but needs a little help getting around. Family is welcome anytime to visit and come by.
So, private bedroom with a big closet made wheelchair accessible, a kitchen customized to wheelchair accessibility, a sliding shower chair to take a shower and three caregivers for round-the-clock care... Oh, did I mention that we enjoy fresh berries and ice cream for lunch or dinner? Give us a call; come visit.
Serious inquires ONLY - Please call my boss if you have any questions or feel free to shoot me a e-mail :).

Have a terrific day!
