Assistant Project Manager (No Experience Necessary) (College Graduates!!)

Dalamar Homes -- Brentwood, TN

Residential General Contractor seeking ENERGETIC Assistant Project Manager with little experience needed. Willingness to travel a necessity. Attitude, aptitude, ability and commitment will be key traits of the successful candidate.

Position Requirements:
Must be self motivated, possess strong leadership, communication, organizational and computer skills.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities in close coordination with the Project Manager:


The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising the completion of construction by subcontractors and punch-out supervisors for final inspection.


(The following duties are the responsibility of the Assistant PM but may be delegated along with any other duties as applicable).

a. Prepare punch lists and ensure that each item on the list is completed satisfactorily prior to inspection.
b. Schedule inspections by the city and other authorities.
c. Assess the status of construction to determine the order in which to complete the project.
d. Prepare minutes of weekly safety meetings.
e. Order the necessary parts and replacement parts to prepare units for final inspection.
f. Maintain punch supervisor's supplies.
g. Oversee the completion of all rough trade work; i.e., plumbing, heating and air conditioning, etc., and the installation of doors, cabinets, and appliances.
h. Coordinate final clean of apartment units prior to turnover.
i. Assist the Project Superintendent in monitoring subcontractor's efforts to comply with the project's safety program.
j. Lock up and closes down the project.
k. Sign in new building materials.
l. Assist in the resolution of project personnel issues.

h. Ability to work a schedule that may include hours other than 8-5 Monday through Friday, depending on business needs.
