Talented welder/fabricator with 28 years experience fabricating and welding structural metal products, including frameworks or shells for machinery in the mining industry, tanks and metal parts for buildings and the railroad.I got my start at Newport News shipbuilding and drydock company in 1987.For the last 5 years I have been fabricating industial gear box housings and baseplates for them and the electric motors that run them at Sumitomo Drive Technologies. Before that I was at Suffolk Iron Works in Suffolk,Va where I ran the Iron Horse engineering shop,where I built all the components for light rail and subway systems around the world. The biggest project of which was all the components to get the subway system back up and running in New York to New Jersey from the World trade center site, and then the light rail systems used during any of the Olympics from 1999 through 2008 around the world.
