This position provides Shipping, Receiving, Packaging, and Sorting support, ensuring production has required material needed to meet schedule, customer product is shipped on --time. Additional responsibilities include receipt reconciliation to PO and Invoices.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
Operates and act in Safe manner at all times
Coordinate the correct movement of raw material, work in process and finished goods within the plant, working closely with dock forklift and production forklift operators to maintain organized process material flow and inventory.
Assist the Inventory Control Team with warehouse for 5S and FIFO procedures.
Promote and encourage safety with those related to warehouse/distribution.
Ensure that receiving activities for incoming material, parts and all other incoming shipments are handled properly, inspected and documented.
Coordinate shipments to external customers as well as all other package shipping needs. Ensure customer demands and requests are satisfied at all times.
Assist with Inventory Cycle weekly cycle counts
Accounts Payable activities (Verifying BOL receipts vs. purchase orders and invoices).
Investigation of undocumented receipts and returns.
Maintain working relationship with vendors and continually challenge pricing advantages for competiveness.
Qualifications and Competencies:

?High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 5 years shipping/receiving/inventory experience in a high volume manufacturing or distribution environment. Experience with Accounts Payable is a plus.
Minimum 3 years of experience with ERP software, SAP experience is preferred
Ability to understand needs of customers and company operations
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to complete administrative tasks as necessary
Must be Team oriented with good energy and initiative
Strong Excel user
Proven organization skills
Forklift experience is preferred
Intermediate Skills. Ability to create and maintain basic Excel spreadsheets and use Microsoft Outlook e-mail and calendars
Other Skills and Abilities
Employee must be punctual and reliable.
Availability to work variety of shifts, weekends and Holidays.
