We are looking for a rhythm guitarist that is interested in playing with a fun and somewhat loose band that is on an indy label, with distribution in USA, Japan, France, UK and Germany.
I use the term 'commit' loosely since I know that we all have lives, but we do need someone that can at least dedicate some time being in a band rehearsing once a week (currently wed eves 7-10) or less depending on whats happening or whats not happening, and that can gig maybe once up to 2 times a month, and maybe a road trip here n' there.
Our first record 'Come hell or High Water'
first released in Japan August 2014 through Rush/Space Shower Records and is in every Tower Records throughout Japan. (Did a 2 week tour there last october 2014 to support the record)
Released April 27th 2015 on Too Good Records USA / Through Revolver/Midheaven Distribution in San Francisco
Managed by A-Train Entertainment
Released April 2015 Modular Distribution/France/UK/Germany (Possible tour support late summer/fall 2015 or Spring 2016)
Toured Japan (and will go back again), (Europe sometime) and various gigs through-out the west coast with some weekly mini-tours here n' there.
We are in the process of writing new songs for a follow-up record to be complete by the end of the year sometime.
We have a 24 hour rehearsal studio with PA.
We welcome all ages (over 21 please) and don't have any other criteria other than you must be able to play well enough and that you have decent gear and your own transportation (although the band will most likely go to most gigs in a van)
This band is half instrumental/half vocals at times so we mix it up. We also do acoustic gigs as well. We've heard a lot of descriptions on what or who we sound like but rather than get into that from our perspective or anyone else's, i'll let you be the judge and see if this is something that you are interested in.
If so, then give me a call, text, email, whatever you are most comfortable with and we can talk about any questions you might have.
