Super Clean 1997 Harley Davidson FLHTC Electra Glide

This is a super clean bike with only 12,000 original miles on it.

I had no intention of selling this bike ... ever. However, I have two blown
rotator cuffs and it's getting a little hard to handle, especially with a rider.

The bike has been well maintained since bought new. It has a lot of extras
but is by no means gaudy. I get compliments from fellow bikers wherever
I take it.

1997 was the last year you could get the bike carburated, which is
what I wanted. If you want to tweak a motor it's a lot easier with a
carburator than with fuel injection. That being said, the only tweaking
that has been done is re-jetting the carb because of the after market
mufflers and air cleaner.

A 1997 bike with only 12,000 miles on it is pretty much unheard of. It
definitely deserves a look-see.

Asking price is $9500

I realize the asking price is on the high end of retail, but with good reason.
I have been a biker all my life and had every intention of riding this one
through the pearly gates. However, things don't always work out as planned.
A lot of careful thought and planning went into each and every add-on I put
on the bike.

When you go to a value rating website, like NADA for instance, they will tell
you right on the website that the dollar value they give can vary widely from
actual value. This is particularly true in the case of motorcycles. The reason being,
no two bikes of the same given year and model are set up the same by their
owners. The only time they are the same is when they are uncrated at the dealer.
Anyone who relies solely on blue book value when buying a bike can miss out on
some good deals. Your local banker unfortunately relies on blue book completely.

This is not my first CL rodeo! I am tired of the email scammers and phishers.
I will not respond to emails. Serious buyers only ... Please!

If you're reading this listing ... it's still for sale.
