This Guitar started life as a Squier '51 but it was as a Squier '51 body, a Squier Vintage Modified neck, custom WD pickguard ($), dual GFS Retrotron humbuckers, vintage type tuners, full size Alpha and CTS pots, genuine Orange Drop capacitor, rotary selector switch. No junk at all in this build. Body is Vintage White and perfect, not a blemish on it. A very attractive guitar.
The neck is from a Squier Vintage Modified Thinline. I sold the Thinline body on Ebay but kept the neck because it's so good. Micarta nut. A very good neck with no issues, 9.5" radius.
Stock '51s only have a volume and pickup selector switch. A Fender Precision Bass control plate was installed and then had a custom pick guard made to fit the plate and allow for a neck Humbucker instead of the stock Stratocaster single coil pickup. Now the guitar has volume, tone, and a 3 way switch for A B C and A/B B/C pickup settings. Absolutely quiet, no hum at all. All work is neat and correct on this build.
It will come with a nice almost new Fender gig bag. $375 or will possibly trade for a Tube Amp.
I will not respond to any email asking if it is still for sale. If the ads up, it's still for sale.
