Hickory Farms Seasonal Retail Area Manager

Hickory Farms has an opportunity for a Seasonal Retail Area Manager to create the memorable retail experience that has come to define the Hickory Farms tradition of quality and excellence. The Area Manager is responsible for the overall operation and performance of a group of our holiday stores. Area Managers can take advantage of receiving their paychecks on a weekly basis, as well as generous employee discounts on all products!

Responsibilities of the Seasonal Retail Area Manager include but are not limited to:
Maintain a friendly and inviting customer-first atmosphere
Meet sales goals, merchandising, operations, staffing, supervision, training and development, inventory management, loss prevention, and ensuring adherence to company set guidelines and policies
Assists Regional Manager in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training of Store Managers and Sales Associates
Sampling, Selling and Customer Engagement
Implement all Hickory Farms' retail selling strategies and guidelines
Coordinates and assists with set up and tear down of kiosks at beginning and end of season

Requirements of the Seasonal Retail Area Manager include:
A high school diploma or GED
A strong background in retail or customer service management
Ability to stand for long periods of time
A flexible schedule and ability to work long full-time hours from October through December.

Retail Area Supervisors must be always accessible and on call for business needs
