B&M Contractors, Inc. is a heating and air conditioning/electrical contractor located in Elizabeth City, NC. We are now accepting applications for a marketing/sales assistant with experience in marketing, sales, accounting, social media and web site development.

Position description
Successful applicant will be a "people person" who is also detail oriented. You will be responsible for dealing daily with people--customers, permit officers, inspectors, and B&M employees--to coordinate and facilitate the sales and installation of heating and air systems. You will also represent B&M Contractors at public events and perform duties of inside sales person. In addition to these daily responsibilities, you will also perform other marketing duties as follows:

Create engaging content for our website, social media and printed material.
Monitor and understand content marketing trends within our industry.
Correlating marketing efforts to sales
Analyze website and social media statistics
Work with sales and service to understand their needs and to develop appropriate media
Manage, coordinate and adhere to assigned marketing budget

Ideal applicants will have the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong creative, strategic, and analytical skills
Desire for excellence and an eye for details
Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects
Ability to imagine and implement unique and engaging content ideas
Strong passion for technology
Formal training in office procedures and use of office equipment.
Ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing.
Pleasant telephone manner; able to "think on feet" when dealing with callers
Customer service oriented with a "can do" approach to work.
Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office.
Superior organizational skills and a working knowledge of accounting principles.
Excellent problem solving and people skills.
