Project Details:
The project consists of replacing existing modular housing with new modular housing on the existing foundations. In addition, the scope includes addressing site drainage, infrastructure, and grading for handicap accessibility. This is an 18 month construction project.

Essential Functions:
Ensure that the work is performed in accordance with the Construction Documents, construction contract, and report any deficiencies to The Community Builder's Construction Manager (TCB-CM).
Relay construction questions and information to TCB-CM.
Take photographs and prepare daily reports. These reports will include information on:
oThe on-site labor force levels
oThe progress against scheduled delivery dates
oAtypical field conditions encountered
oDetailed descriptions of work not performed in accordance with the contract documents
Monitor any additional work completed on a Time and Materials basis
Regular review of contractor's as-built drawings to ensure that accurate information is being recorded.
Assist in punch-listing completed work.
Review payment applications against the progress of the work on a bi-monthly basis.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Familiarity with AIA construction documents, plans, specifications, and contract administration.
Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Standard.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely is paramount.
Physical ability to traverse construction sites, including ladders, attics, and roofs.

Compensation and other details:
This is not a full time permanent employment, it is based on the duration of this project and as needed basis on others.
An hourly rate will be established based on the level of experience of the candidate
The position requires 40 hours per week, starting at 7:30am and finishing at 4:00 pm, with 30 minutes for lunch.
The Clerk will work out of a temporary field office on the property. Necessary equipment will be provided.
The clerk may be temporarily assigned to other projects within the region to assist with similar tasks as needed.

Education & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in similar construction projects. Experience with modular housing is preferred but not required. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and well with others is essential.
