Job Description:
We are seeking experienced District Managers with a proven success in managing 11 - 15 employees remotely within the District. Candidates should have a strong passion for the beauty and/or fashion industry. District Managers will be managing a staff of Beauty Professionals that work in a retail sales setting. District Managers travel to each retail location within a market to coach, inspire and manage their staff on a daily basis. As the District Manager you will report to the Regional Manager.

Given the nature of the program, this candidate must be passionate and knowledgeable about the beauty industry (makeup, skin and hair care) and the candidate must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in retail sales and the remote management of employees. Applicants must be highly organized with excellent verbal skills, as well as portray a stylish and well-put together appearance. We are a 'lead by example' program, this means that managers spend 2-4 hours with each employee at a time coaching, motivating and co selling with their staff. 90% of all District Sales Managers time is spent in the field with staff. Candidate must currently use beauty brands that are available at a wide-range of beauty retailers.

More specifically, this individual's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Work with the Regional Manager to ensure program success
- Travel to multiple retail locations a day in order to manage Beauty Concierge staff
- Embrace the coaching through co-selling mentality when in store
- Prioritize, plan, and adjust schedules to ensure all shifts are covered
- Participate actively in the recruiting and interviewing of Beauty Concierge staff
- Must be willing to work weekends and a schedule of Wednesday - Sunday or Friday - Tuesday
- Diagnose key learning opportunities with individual staff and coach accordingly
- Attend and manage continuing education seminars and actively pursue additional product knowledge as needed
- Participate in frequent meetings with the Regional Manager and other program management
- Coach all staff to a predetermined sales curriculum
- Manage by example by working alongside staff to ensure that all staff have a strong understanding of the sales process
- Must have the ability to relate to all types of staff members while inspiring excellence
- Build and continually foster a positive relationship with all assigned retail store managers
- Must have a reliable vehicle and travel between three to four retail stores per day
- Manage all assigned staff work times for payroll purposes
- Embrace the common joy of beauty in everyone

High potential candidates should exhibit most or all of the following:
- Beauty Enthusiast - is personally passionate and knowledgeable about beauty
- Proven ability to lead by example
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in retail sales and managing multiple employees remotely
- Excellent communications skills; superb organizational skills
- A drive to see people succeed through continued training and motivation
- An ability to work independently and is self-motivated
- Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
- The ability to be able to inspire retail staff members on a daily basis
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- The ability to organize, motivate manage, and excite a team of retail beauty experts both in-person and remotely
- Understanding of basic technology including laptop computer, iPad, and Microsoft Office applications (mainly word and excel).
