Our Membership team is seeking a self-directed, and results driven individual who is passionate about engaging parents and girls in joining Girl Scouts, and spreading the word about our mission. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the implementation of all aspects of our recruitment strategy in order to attain increased and sustainable girl and adult membership growth on the Treasure Coast.

What other fun & exciting things will you be doing?
Implement year-round girl, adult and volunteer recruitment & retention strategies that result in achieving the council's goals.
Recruit and manage volunteers appointed in roles responsible for recruitment, placement of girls in troops and training and mentoring of newly registered adults in volunteer positions (i.e. troop leaders and co-leaders).
Develop collaborations with strategically identified organizations, business and agencies for membership expansion programs; including grants, and retention in traditional and target markets.
Maintain and reference community profiles, including demographic, statistical, income, school, business, competition agencies and stakeholder groups to recruit in new markets.

Who are we seeking?
A consummate professional, who has previous demonstrated experience in successful recruitment or sales.
A candidate who possesses the ability to multi-task, work and travel independently (within and outside of general office hours)
Demonstrated experience in volunteer recruitment and/or volunteer management.
A dynamic individual who is proficient in public speaking, presenting to small and large groups of staff, volunteers, and potential new girls and adults, facilitation, and the development of PowerPoint presentations, and display boards.
Someone who has demonstrated proficiency in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, as well as Internet Explorer and the Web.
An individual who has the ability to work effectively with adults, girls and community partners reflective of the council's diversity including race, religion, economic status and disability.
A candidate with a reliable vehicle, and maintain a valid Florida State drivers' license with a satisfactory driving record and eligibility for coverage under any applicable agency insurance.

What else will you need?
A Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of three years demonstrated professional experience in sales or recruitment and/or volunteer management.
An understanding and acceptance of the Girl Scout beliefs and principles
