Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Print and solutions company located in the Triangle area has an immediate need for an in-house Customer Service Representative (CSR) to provide support to its broad client base. The CSR is the front line of communication for the company. The CSR must be professional in appearance with a genuine concern for the customer. The CSR must be aware of the company's services and the benefits of these services to the customer. The CSR will understand that his/her role is to increase sales via excellent customer service and product knowledge. Increase the company's inside sales and to support the Outside Sales Representative when necessary.

Properly greets the customer in person or over the phone
Maintains a professional appearance and attitude
Takes complete messages for team members
Has a thorough knowledge of all company products and services, production processes, capabilities, and pricing
Captures customer's specifics using "Job Analysis" questions
Consults with customers to help them make decisions
Recommends additional value-added services
Up sells when there is opportunity
Quotes price and turnaround times
Follows-up on estimates, asks for order
Enters orders in POS system
Handles credit card transactions and deposits
Verifies order accuracy and pricing
Places order into production
Reviews customer's proofs, faxes; calls customers when jobs are ready
Tracks the order in our system to make sure it is produced on time
Works with production staff and customer to resolve any production issues that effect the client
Handles customer complaints; forwards to management when appropriate
Routinely resolves customer inquires and complaints
Maintains customer leads, follows-up
Maintains front office cleanliness
Assists in updating mailing list database by calling for updated Information
Maintains customer files
Assists outside sales function and inside production when requested

Skills & Qualifications needed:

Possesses a knowledge of printing and pre-press requirements (strongly desired, not required)
Has a proven record of customer service and/or sales
Good verbal and grammar skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to "multi-task"
Problem solver
Decision-making skills
Math skills
Sense of urgency
Excellent telephone skills
Enjoys working with people
Good personality
College degree, preferred
Must have the ability to successfully pass background checks

$12 - $13 to start

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: 12 to 13 USD Hourly
