WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The Business Development Representative is a key player in growing Golden Mailer throughassisting in pipeline development and enhancing brand awareness. This entry-level sales position is the starting point for a promising career in sales for Marketing and Business Growth Solutions. Each Business Development Representative is equipped for success with training on our sales methodology and prospecting along with continued mentoring with peers and sales leadership. Ideal candidates for this role are confident, ambitious self-starters seeking to showcase their potential and who want to add value to the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Outbound telephone-based prospecting for Golden Mailer Account Executives
Maintain call volume of 75 to 150 calls per day with the intent to qualify leads and create a pipeline for senior sales members
Prospecting into targeted lists to develop new sales opportunities from cold or inactive accounts
Research prospects, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
Update and maintain sales database as appropriate, including data discovery tied to initiatives
Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives
Expand knowledge of industry as well as the competitive posture of the company

REQUIREMENTS
Goal-oriented, passionate, high-energy professional
1+ years experience in a sales environment -- preferred but not mandatory
Strong time-management skills
Exceptional level of drive and desire for results
Willingness to learn new skills and build a career in sales
Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player
Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
Adept at understanding and clearly communicating marketing solution concepts
Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office Suite)
Sales training and Salesforce.com experience a plus
Possess the drive to succeed and to participate in the growth of an exciting, fast-paced company
