This is a Full Time Position (40 -- 50 hours per week).
The Business Plan Writer will play an important role in analyzing existing financials and creating a forecast model for investment consideration. While the end goal deliverable will be a business plan, this role will call for careful and thoughtful identification of a Company's value proposition and expressing that value into a financial forecast model. Expertise in MS Excel is a must (formulas, macros, shortcuts and best practices financial modeling). Knowledge and comfort level with basic accounting, finance and financial statements (income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flow) is also critical.
Participate in Client meetings to understand the mandate
Participate in internal Client project plans and strategic brainstorming
Complete assigned financial sections of the business plan
Turn edits requests
Edit and perform quality control to the business plan financial sections
Proactive dialog with Associate Director on status, questions, findings, etc.
Proactive dialog with Client on project status, request for information, due diligence, etc.
Other as needed or desired / as qualified

Undergraduate degree in one or more of the following majors: Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Business (marketing, management)
1 -- 3 years of work experience, after undergraduate education
Excellent communication skills

Comfortable working in teams as well as autonomously
