The Client Coordinator is the NUCLEUS of the salon. You are the first and last impression our guests have when they visit Kontempo. You are also the information center for the entire team. You know the particular strengths and weaknesses of each service provider in the salon and you schedule appointments accordingly. You are responsible for advising service providers of their time schedules and helping guests in any way. You treat our guests as family while keeping their best interest in mind always.

Essential Job Functions:
Efficiently execute salon opening and closing checklist
Balance cash drawer each morning
Operate the telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers as necessary.
Retrieves & responds to messages from voicemails & text messages, forwarding messages to appropriate personnel as necessary.
Greet and assist guests while maintaining traffic control in the salon
Maintain salon presentation by keeping displays fully cleaned/dusted and stocked at all times. This is to be done prior to opening salon doors to guests or at the end of business day after guests have left.
Evaluate inventory daily and report to Leadership to order quantities.
Assist in maintaining kitchen/ break-room/ laundry needs
Tip out service provider's at the end of their shift
Collect service provider's tickets at the end of the night
Provide administrative and project support to other departments as needed
May also assist with other related clerical duties such as entering new client information, creating and/or updating spreadsheets, photocopying, faxing, and filing
Provides support for scheduled events in and/or out of the salon such as hosting special guests
Run any requested errands
Helps assist with taking salon orders
Calling in and picking up lunch orders when necessary
Maintain overall presentation of salon
Have new clients fill out contact information sheets and enter into the proper database
Call and/or text clients to confirm appointments without error
Call clients if a service provider is running late for their scheduled appointment(s)
Fold and put away towels in appropriate locations such as towel warmer, shampoo stations or rag cabinets
Clean and stock coffee bar regularly
Make and maintain apothecary water daily
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms throughout the day
