Manage bid, launch and completion of large projects assuring successful completion of cost, schedule, and quality expectations while effectively managing risks. Responsible to detail project scope requirements, identify risks and confirm expectations upfront; develop comprehensive project cost estimates, collaborate with operational teams in various markets, manage approval and change order processes. Partner with national sales and local sales reps to pursue opportunities; quote and win large new construction and large renovation project (RNC) opportunities from existing and new multi-housing customers. This position may be based in Los Angeles, San Diego, or Phoenix, AZ.
If you have 5+ years' experience securing, leading and managing large construction projects with a history of successful completion of cost, schedule, and quality expectations over an extended time, check out this opportunity! The successful candidate will have knowledge of all types of flooring products, their installation, construction industry practices, methods, materials, specifications and conditions. Strong ability to effectively communicate with customer procurement, construction services and project management personnel on spec, cost and performance issues-requirements as well as demonstrated proficiency to negotiate agreements and amendments, while avoiding and addressing problems or issues. Proficiency with various systems and software tools commonly used in the industry is needed.
