We seek an assistant operations manager who will supervise and work alongside crew performing daily cleaning of mall common areas including restrooms, food court, and other public areas.
Assign work tasks and regularly inspect results to ensure timely and quality task completion. Adjust work tasks as goals change or are not being satisfactorily met.
Promptly reply to customer requests, guaranteeing the highest level of customer care and satisfaction.
Ensure staff has proper supplies and working tools/machinery and that they are using them in an efficient and effective manner. Report equipment repairs to avoid service disruptions.
Maintain positive employee relations through a coaching/motivating supervisory style.
Train new employees and make personnel recommendations to Manager.
Minimum of one year of supervisory experience. Willingness to work where needed and hands-on.
Strong attention to detail and reliability on completing tasks that can be repetitive.
Good working knowledge of janitorial equipment and commercial cleaning practices.
Effective communication skills with customer, patrons, and employees. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
Reliable transportation and successfully pass a criminal background check.
