We are searching for a senior PMP certified Project Manager with experience on large scale Health Care software development projects.

Columbus, OH area. This role is only available to local candidates or candidates who will relocate at their own expense.

$90K to $120K, commensurate with experience.

Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 5 years' experience with Health Care is required (e.g., hospital systems, big pharmaceutical companies, health and human services, private agencies, health insurers, etc.) Experience as a Project Manager on an IT project with a minimum of one federal, state, or local government project of at least twelve months' duration Experience as a Project Manager throughout the lifecycle of a project on at least one software development or software implementation project of at least twelve months' duration Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent minimally three years in force. You must be very familiar with the PM Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Must have a solid understanding of business development with a demonstrated ability to help grow the business of their employer.
You will be required to create and review project documentation such as project plans, WBS, Gantt charts, schedules, risk assessments, mitigation plans, tracking of timelines, Ad Hoc reporting, work tasks, requirements and workflows. Apply proven project management methodologies for ongoing support, implementation and maintenance of projects. Facilitate and participate in approved project planning, request for change documentation, business requirements, testing and implementation for projects. Ensure timely identification and documentation of issues and risks following accepted project standards and actively engage in issue resolutions activities, including analysis and tracking of systems data.
You will be a candidate for a position that would involve work for a government agency. The position will require work on site in government offices and/or use of a government computer network. The government agency conducts a background check on all contractor requests for access credentials to government buildings and networks. The Government agency will not issue access credentials to any individual who has a felony conviction on their record.
