We are looking for an operations associate to provide principal support for our student services and communicate (email/phone) with prospective clients/students. We offer high quality work with interesting clients in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work and think independently and in a team. Must show initiative and possess excellent computer and organizational skills. Good knowledge of Excel and Outlook a plus.
The position is available immediately. The work schedule is flexible with committed hours (10 to 15 per week) and will include either weekday or weekday + weekend hours.
The position is located in our office in midtown Manhattan (275 Madison Avenue close to Grand Central Station).
We are looking for college student or recent college graduates with a friendly and outgoing personality. The candidate must possess a history of being punctual, responsible and reliable. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and otherwise, to deliver professional, courteous, accurate and persuasive responses to prospective and existing clients. Familiarity with computer programs in general and MS Office programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) in particular is mandatory. Given that our services are offered worldwide, we require a certain level of willingness to work flexible hours.
Total $12--$14 per hour (including bonus), depending on experience and commitment. The chosen applicant will be asked for a 4-week initial trial period. After a demonstrated satisfactory performance, the person's hours and compensation might be adjusted accordingly.
