For Sale: 2009 Ski-doo MXZ Renegade X 600HO eTec - w/ NEW MOTOR
Bluebook Average Retail = $6,605 - Price on this one reduced from $6495 to $6025 on 8/18/15
Selling for $6,025 because its not washed & polished up. If it doesn't sell by October 1, I'll wash it & polish it up, raise the price as we get closer to the snow flying.
DID YOU KNOW that the average life of a 2-stroke 600 is 6000-8000 miles? That means this new engine should last you for years. (And by the way, the engine was installed by an e-Tec engineer/mechanic...not by an amateur mechanic. Compare miles with other sleds out there and then ask the other sellers WHERE they rode and HOW they trailered it and stored it. Read on...

-- Paid over $11,000+ for it in 2008. It was an early-season 2009 order with the special color and upgraded shocks and LCD Display (among several other perks you get with early-season order)
NOW THE IMPORTANT STUFF:
-- LESS THAN 250 Miles in Wisconsin. This sled was ridden in SNOW; Not Mud, Gritt & Dirt. Nearly ALL miles were ridden in UP Michigan & Canada in deep, deep snow. (yes, we are spoiled rotten)
-- ONLY trailered and stored in an ENCLOSED trailer. NEVER sprayed with road grit nor road salt on an open trailer - NEVER. Also note, that the Enclosed trailer is also stored INDOORS in the summer...so the sled was stored inside a trailer inside a building.
-- I'm an "old guy" and mainly trail ride at a reasonable pace. I'm not a testosterone-infused 20-something who beat the crap out of the sled every time I got on it. Let's face it, I bought it at the exact time the economy crashed and from that moment on, I knew I had to take care of it and make it last until the economy got better. Well, the economy got better and I'm buying a brand new 2016 at the outrageous price of $12,000+. I don't need 2, so this one is for sale...even after putting $3,500 into the list of maintenance items listed at the top of this listing.
-- SHORT BLOCK is NEW (not refurbished)! Most of the time when you do a short block, Ski-Doo sends you a refurbished short block. They were out of refurbished when we did this, so they sent a new short block. The motor was done by one of the engineers on the e-Tec project - YES, one of the people who invented, developed and engineered e-tec.
