I have a pair of vintage Fender amps for sale or possible trade towards a vintage Martin or Gibson acoustic. Both amps are pre-CBS blackface and not re-issues.

First is a 1964 Fender Bassman head and matching 2x12 Fender cabinet. The AA864 circuit was Leo Fender's original blackface Bassman circuit design and remains very popular with both players and collectors. Not only was it simple and robust, it delivered pure, fat and sparkling Fender blackface tone. The vintage head and cabinet are both in very good condition, there is some surface rust and the tolex has its share of nicks and scrapes. The output transformer, filter caps and one pot were replaced, originals will be included. A grounded three prong power cord was also added. The cabinet has one original Oxford speaker and one Jensen Vibranto from the same period. This AA864 circuit had a very limited production run from 1963 until the end of 1964. Asking price $1450.

I also have a 1966 Fender Twin Reverb. In very good overall condition, it sounds absolutely fantastic and shows why a blackface is one of the most sought after vintage Fender amplifiers. Tons of clean headroom and an unmistakable reverb tone. 85 watt tube combo, dual channels, tremolo, reverb, kickback legs intact and includes a footswitch. One era correct replaced speaker, a replaced handle and top corner caps are non-original. The grill cover and footswitch may also be replacements. Tolex is in very good condition less some nicks and wear, missing the upper back board. Asking price reduced to $2150.
