Purpose of Position:
To provide psychotherapy with students and their families. To collaborate with school personnel regarding the students you are serving. To provide consultation and training with school personnel as needed.
Job Responsibilities/Principal Duties:
?Maintain a caseload of clients in the Rule 29 Mental Health Clinic school sites.
?Perform diagnostic assessments for children, adolescents and adults.
?Develop treatment plans for these clients and perform treatment services including individual, couples and family counseling. Review treatment plans with clients every 90 days.
?Maintain client charts according to clinic standards.
?Do all necessary prior authorization requests in a timely manner to insurance companies to insure that payment for services is received.
?Provide assigned number of billable hours on a monthly basis - 65% direct service.
?Coordinate closely with school personnel and other collaterals as appropriate.
?Comply with Minnesota Data Practices requirements, Rule 29 Regulations, the American Psychological Association Standards, as well as other applicable statutes and/or regulations. Adhere to principals, ethics, and expectations of your Professional Board of Licensure and/or Certification.
?Abide by the Counseling Center's Policies and Procedures. This includes attendance and participation at all meetings.
?Participate in the development and building of program through participation on committees, special projects, contributing ideas, and/or information and knowledge as time permits.
?LICSW, LMFT, or LP with minimum of 3 years post licensure experience preferred.
?Experience doing therapy with children and/or adolescents and their families.
?Experience coordinating services with other professionals.
