Barracuda Networks is looking for an experienced Payroll/Commission Specialist that can temporarily support the payroll and commission teams with payroll software conversion and routine commission duties. Reviews and reconciles data from various sources. Cross-trains on commission processes including reconciliations and reporting. Works closely with management on ad hoc projects. Creates and processes various documents including commission plans, reports, and payroll inquiries. Assists payroll and commission teams on projects as needed.Essential Functions:General:Run various reports as needed for reconciliations of payroll data, systems, and commission data.Support management team with ad hoc reporting as requested.Pull data and package for payroll, financial, and SOX audits.Maintain organization of recordsPayroll:3 years payroll experience required.Experience with equity transactions, tax reconciliations, audits desired.Assist payroll team with software conversion including data review, reconciliations, documentation, and historical data uploads.Prepare and/or package supporting documents for various audits.Assist with payroll tax including on- and off-cycle tax deposits, and tax calculations.Balance earning and deduction totals.Inspect system output and research discrepancies.Research and prepare ad hoc reports.Assist with payroll year end balancing.Commission: (not required, but a definite plus!)Crosstrain for support in routine processes.Analyze accuracy of sales reports.Periodic document creation & tracking -- high volume at peak periods.Month end data pulls for calculations, activity tracking, review results for anomalies.Commission year end planning including documents, implementation, review.Assimilate and maintain records of commission data and documents from various sources.Maintain accurate periodic commission reports for management.Qualifications:3 years of payroll experience with understanding of taxes, garnishments, tax.Commission calculation experience desired.Ability to identify discrepancies in various data sets.Must be highly organized.Must be flexible in both tasks and work hours.Experience in conversion to new payroll software including testing and reconciling variances.Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.Skilled in Microsoft Office and advanced knowledge of Excel.Ability to use Excel to create reports and documents, and to use formulas for efficiency and data validation.Experience with Ultipro or similar software.Extreme attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with managing records, files, and sensitive data.Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Must be a team player working closely with direct management.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Must be proactive and take ownership of tasks given.To apply, please use the link below: https://hire.jobvite.com/j?cj=ofRn1fwe&s=
