About the engine:
For trucks in this $15,000 to $25,000 price range, this 2004-2007 6.0 Diesel Powerstroke is most desirable in Ford's engine history up to 2010. One reason is that it has very few emission controls which have seriously compromised the performance of the newer problematic engines.

For common concerns of the 6.0, we have been proactive to mitigate and monitor this 2005 engine's excellent condition. First of all, no aftermarket high performance chips have been installed which causes abnormally high compression stress that the engine was not made for.

In addition, the engine has been properly and thoroughly flushed by removing the engine block plugs. There are 2 aftermarket Filtration Solution Worldwide FS-2500 filters for oil and transmission http://www.fs2500.com. The latest oil analysis by ALS Tribology showed that it is in good condition. http://www.alsglobal.com/en/Our-Services/Industrial/Tribology/Capabilities/Oil-Analysis

The Sinister Diesel Coolant Filter system ($180 value) http://sinisterdiesel.com/i-18954000-sinister-diesel-coolant-filter-system-for-ford-e-series-2003-2007-6-0l.html has also been installed, giving additional peace of mind.

And finally, this truck also comes with the Linear Logic ScanGauge ($170 value) that monitors multiple points of engine performance. http://www.scangauge.com/products/scangaugeii/ Specifically, it continuously compares oil to coolant temperatures which should be less than 10 degrees different. On this truck under a load, it has stayed well within normal perimeters, which confirms unhindered coolant flow.

We are the 2nd owners of this fine 2005 F350 for the last 7 years. It has been well cared for and all maintenance is up to date. This truck is in top running condition! A vehicle AutoCheck scores our truck at 86 out of a top of 89 to other comparable vehicles and is available on request. NADA and Kelly Blue Book shows clean retail of this truck as $18,300-$18,400. This is an exceptional, very clean, and above average truck. . . a great value in this price range.
