My wife and I found this sweet boy on May 29th, 2015. He was picked up in our trap extremely malnourished and dehydrated but his friendliness made us believe that he at one point had a home. He doesn't have a clipped ear and at the time we were under the impression that he was a female so we took this guy in to get fixed and decided against attempting it at that point because his health put him at risk and we weren't willing to take that chance. Over the next few weeks, he bulked up and when we again attempted to get him fixed we were made aware that he was in fact a male, neutered and at least 10 years old. Learning these things definitely gave us even more reasons to believe he once had a home especially since his ear isn't clipped and he's neutered.
A little bit about this kitty:
Male brown tabby approximately 10+ years old. Neutered, claws in tact and no microchip.
His current weight is approximately 8-9 lbs. His colors are sandy brown, black and orange. The orange is mostly on his chest and he's got the cutest orange circles on his cheeks by his mouth and whiskers. He hasn't yet received his shots because he has a pretty rough recovery any time he is taken out of the house but he will be taken within the next week or two for those.
He was found in the Bonanza and Lamb 89110 area in a residential neighborhood. Judging by the condition he was in when we found him I'm going to assume he's been out on the streets for quite awhile. If this is your sweet kitty or if you happen to know anyone who has lost a male cat meeting his description please let us know. We found him while personally looking for our own kitty who has been missing for over 3 months now, and after having to deal with this stress and heartbreak there is no way we won't at least attempt to find his owners because we'd wish for someone to do the same for us. We want no compensation for any care he has received or will receive but we will not release him to anyone without proof that he belongs to you. If this sweet guy's family is never found he will be remaining with us as we have grown to care for him very much but can't allow for our feelings to prevent him from possibly being reunited with a family who might be missing him. If you have any questions for us please respond to this via email or by phone/text.
