In addition to the administrative responsibilities, duties include independent projects as assigned by the functional leader
Act as "gatekeeper" for all communications including phone calls, email, correspondence, and faxes. Correspond as appropriate.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Coordinate complex travel arrangements and off-site meetings.
Collect and prepare documents/information for staff meetings.
Track expenses and prepare expense report in a timely manner.
Independently manage various administrative projects.
Support other members of functional staff as needed and time allows.
Maintain and update functional databases where appropriate.
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Progressive professional administrative experience including experience reporting directly to a C-level executive.
5+ years administrative experience
Strong analytical skills and high-level project management desired.
Ability to multitask and accurately process a large volume of work, often without daily oversight.
Enjoys working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Is "politely persistent" in obtaining information to meet deadlines.
Ability to be flexible and negotiate ever-changing priorities.
Demonstrated high level of "business maturity".
Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
Ability to handle and maintain confidential reports and information with discretion.
Demonstrated intelligence, independence and a strong work ethic.
Represents the management team and the company in a positive, professional manner.
Expert in all MS Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
