Sr. Manager of Store Support

The Senior Manager of Store Conditions is charged with the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures and programs that will assure a well-managed, well-maintained store environment for our customers and employees. This position coordinates the activities, financials, vendors and manpower required for current and future needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Ensures the day-to-day janitorial operations of the facilities are implemented and carried out in a manner consistent with Save Mart policies and management directives.

Management of store janitorial contracts to assure all contracts are reviewed on a regular basis and are bid out as needed and assures invoices match contract pricing.

Charged with the supervision of all janitorial programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the properties.

Responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of such statistical data as may be required to provide accurate and current assessment of facility management objectives.

Perform store inspections of work performed to insure company standards are being met.
Manages, resolves and responds to team members and store issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Technical knowledge of custodial equipment, cleaning procedures, and project activities
Experience overseeing skilled, semi-skilled and non-skilled personnel in a union and/or non-union environment is required
Ability to resolve service issues promptly
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong fact-finding skills
Excellent organizational skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High School Diploma or vocational school (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience).

Minimum of seven years of related experience in this organization or in another.

Ability to lift minimum of 40 lbs. Stand, bend, and stoop.
