Under the direction of the Employee Engagement Manager, the Employee Engagement Specialist provides advice and guidance to employees and managers and facilitates resolutions to employee-related questions, issues and concerns. The Employee Engagement Specialist promotes a positive work environment, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Associates Degree required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
2 years experience in Human Resources.
Employee relations experience preferred.
Ability to resolve conflicts and diffuse employee related issues, concerns, situations, etc.
Computer proficiency, including, e-mail, Internet, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to effectively establish priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.
Exceptional detail and follow-up skills.
Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
Employee must apply for, receive, and maintain a gaming license from the Gaming Commission.
Native American hiring preference applies.
