Position:
In addition to staff RN duties and under the direction of the Clinical Director, is responsible for direction of patient care on assigned unit. Plans, implements and evaluates patient care provided. Assists Clinical Director to plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate programs to insure compliance with all regulatory agencies and organizational policies. In collaboration with the Education Department, plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates educational programs for the department staff, patients and families. Provides input into the staff evaluation process. Responsible for coordination of orientation for staff new to the department. Accountable for the operation and resource utilization of a designated portion of the patient care area.

Qualifications:
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrates initiative in recommending and implementing change.
Knowledge of JCAHO, DHS/HCFA, CCS, EMTALA, and other regulatory agencies or statutes.
Teaching and directing ability and interest in scientific and technical procedures.
Meets staff RN requirements.
BSN preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience.
Minimum of 2 years (2) years experience in Outpatient (ASU) and Endoscopy
Specialty certification in area of expertise
Current CPR card
