The Executive Assistant is responsible for the daily activities of the Executive Team's Administration office. Plans, develops, and implements special projects as designated by the Executive Team. Works closely with the Board of Directors. Acts as liaison between Administration and hospital departments, physicians, and community. Supervises and performs secretarial and general office duties which are often confidential in nature, requiring a great deal of exactness and accuracy. Participate and make recommendations for employment of staff. Coordinates and facilitates meetings, program functions, and/or special events, as appropriate. Trains and supervises other clerical staff as needed.
Successful candidate must have:
Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education.
Two years' experience supporting an Executive or in a similar role.
Ability to work autonomously under the direction of the Executive Team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced computer skills to include MS Office Suite.
Able to make decisions using discretion and independent judgment.
Able to troubleshoot and be resourceful in resolving any problems or issues that arise.
Able to prioritize, multi-task and manage time to meet deadlines and time constraints.
Ability to work and supervise others as needed.
Possess foresight to plan and prepare in advance for payments due, meetings and any other timely events.
Must work well with all levels of persons and personalities.
