The Nursing Director, reporting directly to the CNO, will have overall accountability for supervision of staff, patient care and unit management 24 hours per day, seven days per week for the Emergency Department, including our Level II Trauma Center. This position is responsible for ensuring that all assigned units meet patient safety goals, quality assurance guidelines, The Joint Commission (TJC), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Federal and State laws and regulations, and all other requirements and standards.
Successful candidate must have:
The ideal candidate will possess a valid CA RN license
BSN (Master's preferred)
3 (Three) years of supervisory experience in Emergency Trauma Services
5 (five) years of clinical nursing experience in emergency services
Self-motivated, assertive, with proven communication and relationship skills required.
Demonstrative effective working relationships with physicians.
Ability to work collaboratively with health care professionals at all levels to achieve established goals and improve clinical and quality outcomes.
