Seeking a vibrant Guest Service Agent/Auditor for a Marriott property in the Homewood area!
As an+ Agent/Auditor you will:
-Greet, register and assign rooms to guests, ensuring that special requests, VIP's, etc. are executed prior to guest arrival
-Verify payments and ensure guests have sufficient authorized credit or cash balances to cover expected charges
-Keep record of room availability
-Conduct night audit
-Handle cash accurately and make safe deposits
-Operate multi-line phone to process reservations and correspond with current and potential guests; utilize basic office equipment
-Record messages and receive and sort mail/packages for arriving and in-house guests
-(MOST IMPORTANTLY) Perform the above with a stellar personality!
The ideal candidate will be available for a FLEXIBLE schedule typically consisting of shifts scheduled 7 AM - 3 PM, 3 PM - 11 PM and 11 PM - 7 AM (overnight shift will only be on occasion/not very often). This position will be part-time with potential to move to full-time.
Candidates to be considered MUST possess previous work experience as a DESK CLERK in a hotel; Marriott hotel experience with FOSSE property management systems is preferable but not required.
