Job Description-

Content and Context is the backbone and hottest and growing area within the digital marketing space. 360factors is looking for Digital Content Editor/Writer primarily responsible for leading a team of editors in developing engaged and relevant digital marketing content (and building key industry relationships to support brand initiatives. Digital Content Editor/Writer leads the brands' overall content strategy, channel differentiation strategies/plans, and content discovery utilizing social and SEO best practices. Digital Content Editor/Writer as a key member of the marketing and product team is responsible in planning and implementing short and long-term objectives in alignment with branding and demand generation. Responsible for all day-to-day editorial functions and updates. Functions as the primary liaison between the content team and internal marketing and product departments.

Specific duties include:

Develops and project manages editorial content project plan and ensure content goals are met.
Sets the company's content and information strategies and direction for each brand and establishes the content differentiation position for each brand's products in collaboration with editorial, sales, audience development, and digital teams.
Creates, communicates, and ensures corporate best-practice strategies for and creating, repurposing, and distributing information across all channels -- print, digital, mobile (tablet and app), and social -- utilizing all content types -- original, contributed, user-generated, and native advertising.
Collaborates with Executive Editor and Editor to plan and execute content features and initiatives, ensuring all efforts meet editorial standards and requirements and ensuring content is an appropriate mix of media.
Establishes key relationships across each market segment to gain understanding of the profession (important developments, trends etc.), how that content is of value and how it is best distributed in a platform-agnostic environment to engage each brand's audience.
Contributes to the creation of new content/data/product opportunities to gain new sell-side clients and new buy-side audiences.
Develop and launch webinar series and client/industry speaking engagement series for each market based on emerging trends, market developments etc.
Demonstrate active engagement with social media within the veterinary industry.
Mentors staff in new media best-practices and establishes the social media strategy and implementation plan.
Demonstrates a clear understanding of reader behavior and engagement; provide creative solutions to meet and exceed engagement goals Monitors competitors' products and conducts content audits.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Media Management / Mass Communication / Journalism.
Minimum 5 years content development--digital, events, print, and mobile, social with 7 years' staff management experience and 3 years' experience with social media.
Social Media expertise: i.e. Blogger, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Meetup, etc.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of the organization and with clients.
Excellent Presentation, Analytical and organizing skills.
Collaborative, cooperative and team player - cross functional mindset
Expertise with digital and mobile distribution channels.
Knowledge and experience in the veterinary industry a plus.
