Selling some of my guitars in my small collection . This great semi-hollow bass was modeled after the original late '60s, early '70s models of Guild Starfire basses, but was introduced as a budget version under the name "DeArmond By Guild" in attempts to recapture the brand's vintage vibe and market it at a more affordable price for modern players. It has a surprisingly good build quality, of which is immediately noticeable upon visual inspection and even moreso upon sitting down with it. The body has a nice natural resonance that perfectly matches the warm and woody character of the pickups. The medium round neck is easy to play from the nut to cutaway and balances well with the body weight. Its aesthetic is about as classic as they come with the Cherry stained finish but the unique appointments like the stylized bridge and knobs remind players this is no ordinary bass.
Large adjustable magnet pickups provide a deep sounding bass bottom. The controls are switchable to adjust for any sound you are searching for . DeArmond 2B Dual-coil humbucking pickups in the neck and bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone, 3-way pickup selector. This guitar is no longer manufactured , it was one of the lesser models by Guild but great for a player looking to increase the size of his collection on short money . Neck scale is 32". Come on over , check it out , plug it in , comes with gig bag.
This was hardly played , like new condition , just a guitar I wanted to own for a while . I think the price is reasonable but would negotiate and take offers .
