Aruba (Penthouse!) July 9-16, 2016
I will not be using my week at the Divi Phoenix in Aruba in 2016, and am once again offering it for rent. I have several pages of information and pictures available upon request via email. Last year I posted this for rent and by the end of the day, I had four people saying "I'll take it". It was committed to immediately, and the person that rented the unit has just returned and said it was fabulous, as did the family that rented the unit in 2014 from us.
Our unit is the hard to get Penthouse unit at the Divi Phoenix. My week is always week #28 in the calendar year, which in 2016 will be July 9-16. The penthouse comprises two floors and is huge. It has two master king suites, both with large bathrooms and Jacuzzi tubs and a third full bathroom, as well as a sleeper sofa. This section was built in 2007, so they are beautifully "new" with a granite/stainless steel kitchen, and all the amenities you would need for your week. The penthouse unit is 1550 square feet, faces the gorgeous pool and the Caribbean sea. The penthouse is a two-level unit on the top two floors of the building.
There are a few pools, and one has a swim-up bar and daily happy hour. Pure Beach Restaurant is an outdoor restaurant on site with great food.
Divi Phoenix is located on Palm Beach in Aruba along the stretch of high rises. It's the last resort on the Palm Beach section, so it is peaceful. July is an excellent time to be in Aruba, as the tradewinds are blowing constantly.
If you were to rent this unit from the resort directly for one week, the cost would be approximately $4,800 for the week. Do you want to go to Aruba? Here's an opportunity to stay in one of the best units with incredible views. It's truly a week in paradise.
The Divi Phoenix will also charge their customary resort fee upon check-in. In 2015, that was $220. Internet is free at the resort. There are grocery stores nearby, and it is easy to rent a car for the week or for a day. Restaurants in Aruba are excellent, and the property has grills available if you want to BBQ. You can walk anywhere along the Palm Beach resorts via a walkway on the beach that connects each resort from end-to-end, all the way to the opposite end where the Marriott Surf Club and Ocean Club are. There are restaurants, hotels, casinos, and many things to do along Palm Beach.
The sunsets each night are amazing, and there is often a wedding at sunset on the beaches of Palm Beach just because of the sunset and atmosphere. Waters are warm and calm in the Caribbean sea.
