SUMMARY: Provide support to contract facilities for services to the States Newborn Hearing Screen Program. Assist with monitoring Newborn Hearing screens are completed, providers are contacted to schedule or reschedule necessary appointment. Track notification letters, information packets and ensure the newborn case is managed throughout the process up to closure.

Support the newborn hearing program to ensure screening results are obtained and documented. The newborn appointments are scheduled with the appropriate provider and the necessary referrals are coordinated with the family and the community agency. The NHSP guidelines outline the general requirements found in Section 69-8.4 of the Newborn Hearing Screening Regulations and include:

Ensure the timely notification of all Newborn Hearing stakeholders and providers;
Notify and documenting non-English speaking families are provided language translation either verbally or in writing when applicable.
Communicating questions in entering, transcribing, recording and maintaining information related to the computer software systems;
Providing training and education to providers, professional staff and state users in the routine software processes and assists with resolving any program screening concerns;
Collects and reports any stakeholder concerns for possible process improvements;
Completing Data entry tasks; printing and mailing of notification letters to necessary providers;
Supports all program resources to ensure data management systems are consistently functioning.
Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work - Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

Other duties may be assigned.
1.Point of contact for tracking software issues involving "bugs" and troubleshooting issues with data transmittal and collection.

1.Responsible to follow-up directly with user and provider software questions and concerns.

1.Ensure all development changes to the software program are QA tested prior to release or deployment.

1.Travel to customer sites when necessary.

Education and/or Experience

Associates Degree (AD) with background in IT computer sciences, and
