Successful non-profit organization has an immediate full time position (40hrs/wk). The Communications Coordinator will work with the Executive Director and Director of Operations on Center Wide projects and initiatives, including but not limited to, the Advisory Council, committees, grant proposal narrative and tracking, and construction projects. This will include creating proposals, coordinating projects and initiatives, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Preferred Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, business or like field and 2+ years of experience. Ability to read, write and communicate well in English required. Well versed in Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint. Maintain a valid California Driver's License with less than two violations in the last 12 months and no DUI within the last 18 months and must pass Salvation Army Fleet Safety Test.
