Position Overview

The Sales/Pricing Analyst will report to the CFO and will provide reporting and analytical support to the Sales Team and the Executive Team. Our Sales/Pricing Analyst will work directly with the sales and finance teams, analyzing, forecasting, and identifying trends across global sales revenues, including; price concessions, industry changes, seasonality, lost opportunities, margin, etc. The position will approve or deny price deviation requests while looking at the customer and brand holistically. The right candidate will think creatively to improve the company's overall margin in a price competitive industry while maintaining sales growth.

Essential Responsibilities:
*Work closely with Sales, Cost Accounting, Finance and the Executive teams to determine appropriate price deviations, pricing floors and other concessions
*Work closely with senior Sales leaders and Sales team to analyze and present forecasts, performance, productivity and trend data
*Develop and present client, market, revenue and margin analyses to support senior management decision making
*Effectively communicates findings to all levels of the sales department and management team
*Participate in heavy business planning with Sales and Finance management teams
*Identify business gaps, challenges and present solutions to improve margin while maintaining sales growth
*Gather and analyze company data to meet and exceed outlined margin expectations and opportunities
*Develop unique and actionable strategic recommendations for the business
*Lead strategic projects from planning to execution
*Provide detailed and accurate reporting to Sales, Finance and the Executive teams on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to support business objectives
*Work closely with the Sales team - provide support and share insight, experience and best practices to improve overall margin

REQUIRED Skills and Experience:
*Bachelor's Degree; with 5 - 7 years of related experience with a successful track record
*Strong analytic, problem-solving skills and business acumen
*Advanced Excel skills required, advanced PowerPoint skills a plus
*5 years' experience with reporting, dashboards and system improvement
*Strong technical skills including an understanding of relational databases.
*Ability to plan and implement a structured business process
*Ability to develop projects, programs, process changes and provide meaningful insight to support decision makers
*Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
*Ability to determine downstream effects of process changes, and provide appropriate recommendations
*Ability to QC reports at a detailed level
*Demonstrate robust project management, verbal and written communication skills
*Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
*Demonstrate the ability to conceptualizes and absorb information quickly
*Demonstrate the capacity to organize, analyze and interpret data
*Illustrate familiarity in working with complex data sets
*Experience with Business Intelligence software a plus
