We welcome customers, employees, volunteers and supporters of all faiths and encourage spiritual growth in whatever manner one chooses.Our Mission To champion the positive development of children and adults, strengthen families and build community.Apply online at Neighborhood Connector will develop an in-depth knowledge of the conditions of the Fostering Hope neighborhood and work with neighbors to identify activities they would most like to work on to strengthen family protective factors and support a neighborhood that will be a safe, healthy place to raise children. The Connector will help neighbors explore needs, identify strengths and opportunities, organize activities, and secure resources to make meaningful changes. The Connector will nurture neighborhood leadership and help neighbors engage other residents and help from Fostering Hope partners and key neighborhood stakeholders to implement their ideas. Essential Position Functions and Key Work Processes 1. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the conditions of the Fostering Hope neighborhood. 2. Initiate and maintain connections with neighborhood schools, churches, civic groups, and other places where neighbors gather. 3. Engage neighborhood residents to identify neighborhood strengths and assets. 4. Engage and support neighborhood residents to plan and implement activities that strengthen family protective factors and deepen their connection and active commitment to the neighborhood. 5. Develop, coordinate and support implementation of neighborhood activities that increase positive interaction between neighbors. 6. Work with the Fostering Hope Neighborhood Team to develop strategies and identify resources that will support development and implementation of neighbor-driven family strengthening activities. Secondary Position Functions 1. Produce written communications (eg: schedules, flyers, invitations, and other correspondence). 2. Maintain records and develop brief reports. 3. Meet with supervisor and/or Neighborhood Team to review progress and discuss strategies for fulfilling expectations. 4. Attend agency staff meetings, in-services, and other required training's to uphold policies and procedures.Requirements: 1. Experience, training or education equipping individual to fulfill the duties of the position. 2. Provide an automobile as a condition of employment; valid driver's license with a driving record that permits coverage under the agency's corporate auto liability policy; and personal automobile liability insurance. 3.
