Hawaii Building Supply is a fast growing full service flooring and cabinet company located in Honolulu. We are looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to be responsible for a diverse range of administrative and office support activities. The ideal candidate must be dependable, efficient, enthusiastic, well organized with a positive attitude.
-Answer and direct phone calls, greet customers
-Provide support on day to day projects
-Maintain calendars and schedules
-Assist sales people with placing orders, process invoices, scheduling pick-ups and deliveries
-Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies
-Be a proactive team player, offer help to other teammates when have time, initiative and resourceful
-Filing, handing mail, as well as other office-related tasks
-Help with trade shows and event planning
-Work under tight deadlines when necessary
-Updating miscellaneous presentation and marketing material, product catalog software files, etc.
-2 year Associate's degree and at least 2 year of experience as an Administrative Assistant required
-Detail oriented and able to meet deadlines
-Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), Adobe Acrobat is a must
-Knowledge of Quickbooks 2014 is a plus
-Must be able to follow directions, work independently and with a team
-Must be available to work M-F 8-5pm and some Saturdays (3-4 hours), depending on the work flow
-Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
